What’s In Store for Palmer’s Physical Education?

In Mr. Dhari's PE class this year, there's around 30 students, creating a “lively” and engaging environment. To keep track of their own progress, he did fitness testing the year with all of them. As the time goes by, continuous assessments help the students to learn about their development. Observations provide Mr. Dhari insights into how well the students are adapting to the physical activities within the class.

Mr. Dhari also focuses on aspects like nutritional health which ensures that students don’t only stay active but also learn the importance of a balanced lifestyle.

When he was asked about specific requirements for teaching PE during an interview, Mr. Dhari outlined the essential skills needed. Besides the obvious for knowledge about sports and games, flexibility is key due to the ever-changing nature of activities. Good time management is a must, while clean and projecting public speaking in front of students are great too.
