Palmer Choir Takes Center Stage at BCTC 2023 in Nanaimo

Palmer’s choir had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with other gifted musicians at the British Columbia Choral Federation Conference 2023 (BCTC 2023) held in Nanaimo. It was definitely an amazing chance to showcase their talents and connect with other voices across the region.

The Palmer choir members had a fantastic experience at the event, where they spent more than 10 hours rehearsing their repertoire under the guidance of a skilled director. These rehearsals enhanced their vocal technique and developed their music skills. The selected repertoire diverse while being technically appropriate for the choirs, ensuring that the choirs will get a valuable lesson and have fun.

One of the highlights of their time at BCTC 2023 was the opportunity to connect with the BC Youth Choir. The students got to sing for one another, share songs during rehearsals and performances, and even attend a BC Youth Choir performance, creating an enriching and collaborative atmosphere.
