As the previous story stated, Palmer has a diversity of courses to choose from (check it out if you haven’t by clicking this link: https://timmychowyilok.wixsite.com/webdesign10/post/exploring-the-digital-frontier-a-snapshot-of-rc-palmer-s-tech-and-coding-courses. In this article, we will be talking about the Web Development / Design 10 class.

Leaded by Mrs. Leung, the students in this class will be starting a website from scratch into an eye-catching and informative school news website for Palmer. As we started in September, it has been a month into the project. Every student is trying their absolutely best every day in hope of reaching the goal. Every student will get their own space, computer, monitor, and a Wix account for the easy accessibility and can always edit and update their website whenever they want.

This website by me, Timmy, is one of the examples. As we learn the formatting, desigining, information collecting, and finding news ideas quickly, the quality and quantity of articles are skyrocketing from nothing. About a few weeks ago, we had a chance to do a project to collect raw news resources as every group around 4 people get assigned to a subject. 3 other classmates and I were assigned home economics, then we carefully planned on when and how we are going to collect the resources. Each of us have different jobs and I was assigned to be the photographer and interview script writer by the group leader. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience and we learned the basics of collecting news resources on first-hand.

(This is not me btw)

I hope after this story, you will be coming back again to check out our progress once in a while to see how we’ve improved over time and also provide you with the latest or important news in Palmer
