For Charles, the most challenging aspect of drama is "getting into character." Acting as someone different from himself presents obstacles that require consistent practice. Charles plans to overcome this by focusing on improvement during every practice session.
The struggle with memorizing scripts due to a "bad memory" is another challenge Charles has to face. Despite the difficulty, he states the importance of sitting down and putting in the effort, showcasing his determination to overcome obstacles and succeed in the class.

What makes drama enjoyable for Charles is the opportunity to be somebody different, a chance to step into another persona. He also recognizes the real-world benefits of drama, especially in terms of improvisation. He believes that the quick thinking not only enhances his dramatic abilities but also improves his time management skills.
Charles expresses his positive thoughts towards Ms. Riddel's class, describing it as a "pretty nice place" with Ms. Riddel herself as a "good teacher."
