Competition for the Best Halloween Costume Across Palmer

On Oct 31, 2023, the Palmer student leaders hosted a Halloween costume contest at lunch for all students and teachers who dressed up. It was a great showcase of Palmer P.R.I.D.E. and creativity. Since there was no limit to what characters you allowed to dressed up or not, everyone was able to brainstorm unique costumes for the event.

During lunch, there was a red carpet on the floor and judges were sitting by the side. After the host finished the speech, all participants began the carpet walk. Bunch of people were taking photos and videos from the side as this doesn’t happen often. There were Zoro, Dora the Explorer, Peely from Fortnite, Mario, etc. Everyone had a great time on the carpet.

The judges were impressed by how individual participants were able to be calm across the event. However, they still had to decide on who is taking awards for individual aspects. For example, there was the Most Creative, the Popularity and the Scariest. Although some didn’t bring home the “glory”, they appreciated the hosting of this event.
